Confluence Crusade: Status and other news

I am plodding along.  Last night I assembled the drop pod.  I still have a lot of work to make it look ready but the idea is there.  Below are a few pics:

I also got a lot accomplished today.  I managed to almost assemble and magnetize my first Predator.  Pretty easy if I must say so.  Need to figure out how I want to attach the sponses(sp?).  I almost managed to screw up priming the shoulder pads for my marines.

Yep...wasn't warm enough and they looked bad. They are soaking in a solution so I can take the paint off of them tomorrow night.  All's good.  Minor setback.  

Retooled my list for Chuck's mini-tournament.  

Here is the craziness.  Looks like if you put the WD mags together they are making a picture of a Dark Angel.  With this people are saying their the next Codex.  That would make Black Templar a WD Codex.  This is contradictory to a lot of what the internet has been saying. 

If you look at the rumor that DA is in the 6e box set and the amount of issues it would take to complete the picture, I don't buy it.  Most likely it is the cover art from the 6e box set which should come out months after 6e.  That would make a lot of sense.  But this is Games Workshop though.  :)
